MMD, a global industrial mining machinery producer is looking to recruit a full time Web/Graphic designer to develop creative content for marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final delivery and have experience in designing for both print and digital channels.

Joining a small talented media team, you will play a key part in shaping and implementing the global brand. You should be highly motivated, self-driven and enthusiastic with natural determination to drive innovation and originality when it comes to design.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing design concepts, layouts, mock ups and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite for a wide range of applications, including print, digital and social media.
• Preparing design files for print or digital publication, and ensure they meet technical requirements.
• Collaborate internally and externally to understand design needs and requirements.
• Although mainly office based this position may require occasional travel.

Experience / Skills

• Relevant degree/academic background in graphic design or related field.
• Professional knowledge in design using Adobe creative suite for print, such as creating brochures, flyers, exhibition stands, presentations, advertisements and other related Marketing assets.
• Experience in design for web and social media.
• Good communication and problem solving skills.
• Desirable: Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, CSS and PHP.
• Desirable: Knowledge of and ability to operate camera equipment, such as a DSLR
• Desirable: Copywriting skills

The position is permanent and will be nominally 37.5 hours per week (Mon – Fri).
