MMD attended the inaugural 2018 Countering Explosive Threat and Demining conference in London.
This week MMD not only had the privilege of exhibiting, but also speaking, at the inaugural 2018 Countering Explosive Threat and Demining conference in London, organised by Defence IQ.
MMD attended the event in conjunction with The HALO Trust, due to the recent donation of a mobile Demining Sizer rig. This provided an opportunity to discuss and educate key industry professionals on the benefits of using Sizer technology for mine clearance work.
Andy Withers, Sales Director of MMD Mineral Sizing Europe Ltd, said:
‘There has been real interest in the Demining Sizer rig and we know that many eyes in the defence community are keen to see The HALO Trust deploy the rig in Zimbabwe in early 2019. This will fully demonstrate our Sizer technology, which we have worked so hard to perfect over the last five years for this specific application. We’ve also have had some great conversations about other projects and environments where a unique and innovative approach is required – we look forward to following up these conversations over the next few months.’
