Flexible mining

Semi-Mobile Sizer stations combine the efficiency of conveyor haulage with the flexibility of short haul truck and shovel. With this proficient blend, your operation will maximise mining flexibility, cut out waste inefficiencies, and increase productivity in the process.

With only short haulage routes from the mine face to the Sizing Station in the pit, you’ll see significant savings in your energy usage, road development and maintenance costs too, delivering a much lower cost per tonne.

Our Semi-Mobile Station can require little to no civils, so there’s no civils residue left behind when you relocate. You’ll also see a reduction in bench preparation time, relocation and set-up. All of which goes towards aiding your environmental footprint.

And then there is the mining system to consider:

Trucks in a Semi Mobile IPSC system only haul short distances to the Sizer station - thus negating the need for driving long distances out of the mine, using conveyor for the long haul to your plant or dump. This efficiency reduces the number of trucks you’ll need, the distance they need to travel and your emissions, noise and dust pollution too.

The environmental impact of trucks is not to be underestimated. Some truck noises reach in excess of 100 dB while larger trucks can consume as much as 3,500 litres of diesel every day. Any savings your mine can make on the quantity of trucks and length of truck haul is certain to have a positive impact for your plant reaching its environmental goals.

Containing trucks within the pit also gives you greater control over operations, and ensures noise and dust is minimised outside the pit.
