MMD Africa recently hosted a successful exclusive launch event in Southern Africa to officially introduce the MAGNA equipment range through MMD Africa, marking an important milestone in the partnership between MMD and MAGNA, a Terex brand.
The event brought together customers, industry professionals and partners from across the region for a day of presentations, technical discussions and networking, highlighting the opportunities the MAGNA range will deliver to the Southern African mining and quarrying industries.

The day opened with presentations from Janis Lombard, Director of MMD Africa, Neil McIlwaine, MAGNA Business Line Director, and Declan North from Terex Financial Services. Together, they outlined the strategic vision behind the dealership partnership and the value it will bring to customers through enhanced equipment availability, technical support and industry expertise.

Guests also attended a series of technical presentations delivered by Niall Duffy, MAGNA Product & Technical Sales Manager, and Marco Cammarata, Impact Crusher & Roller Grizzly Screen Specialist. The launch event follows the recent announcement that MMD Africa has been appointed as the official distributor for MAGNA equipment across Southern Africa. The partnership combines MMD’s extensive regional presence and expertise in material processing solutions with MAGNA’s robust range of crushing, screening and conveying equipment developed for large-scale operations.
